Captain Sensible has been recording and touring now for over 30 years both as a solo artist and with The Damned - please consider this website as the first place to visit for news and upcoming events concerning the great man.
The Damned will be gigging shortly in the UK and USA with more tours planned for later in the year - info on that and all other Sensible related projects like The Dr Spacetoad Experience and Forgotten Saints will be posted here on a regular basis.
So, over to the Captain himself.......
"For a while now captainsensible.com has needed some much needed structural repair and you are here witnessing the result - the new 100% Captain Sensible website.
I'm delighted with the new layout, most of which is up and running nicely and promise that I'll get the discography and photo sections in full working order as soon as possible. Meanwhile I'll be keeping on my Facebook and MySpace sites as they certainly come in handy for the odd portion of opinion and gossip.... and I know you all like a bit of that!
And in light of the fact that a lot of younger music fans download their music these days I have set up an easy to operate online store for t-shirts, hoodies, and (coming shortly) records so that I don't end up having to busk outside Starbucks through financial embarrassment anytime soon. They're not rip-off prices, and if I can understand the workings of the merch page then anyone can so if you want to be a REAL trendsetter forget all that mainstream crap - why not get yourself something a little more Sensible.... not 'arf!
