SOME HAPPY TALK AT ROYAL ASCOT

As you're probably aware yours truly has confined most of ones live performances of late to working with his esteemed comrades in the Damned, playing quality punk rock around the planet - so it was a surprise when the 'Here And Now' 80s revival tour promoters got in touch recently asking if I fancied contributing to one of their shows.
It sounded fun..... just turn up at Ascot Racecourse, play the hits with their live band, enjoy a sumptuous banquet and hang out with some of my pop star chums from back in those wonderful Top Of The Pops days.
Actually, I'd probably be advised not to indulge in quaffing TOO much bubbly with Boy George and the gang as I have another show later that day in Salisbury (Endorse It In Dorset) with the Damned.... but that's only down the road from Ascot so I foresee no problems there. As long as the driver's sober!
I'm expecting an email from Damned bassist Stu to ask if he can blag along for the afternoon as believe it or not he is just about the UKs No1 Belinda Carlisle fan!
